I upgraded my vid card a couple of months ago and had been experiencing problems since.
I was having major fps loss during firefights[close to medium range], input lag [mouse/keyboard movement felt sluggish or like playing on ice].
Tried many different settings and fixes but none seemed to work until I finally got it sorted out today.
I read on another gaming forum that nvidia drivers version 326+ was giving many players problems and my first suggestion is to use a stable driver [nvidia driver version 314.07 is what i'm currently using]
Always perform a clean installation of the driver.

I would also recommend checking the csgo cache intergrity
I did this today and found 21 files needed to be redownloaded, including a DirectX plugin.
To do this:
1.Go to your games library in steam
2.Right click CSGO, select properties
3.Select local files tab
4.Click verify integrity of game cache
Steam will automatically download the required files if any is found corrupt.
