[poll] New graphics for counter strike

If steam came out with a super detailed counter strike (graphics exceeding crysis) how many td members would jump on that shit right away and cause a switch to the new engine?

definitly an inportant aspect, thats why steam asks us to partake in performance surveys sometimes.. to see if its worth thier while to release super detailed games.

don't want/can't spend the money for a new system, but could play it on low low detail. but it would be nice, after playing MW2 i come back to CS:S and it looks like 1.6 to me.

the biggest thing they could upgrade is what cock said, make the play better, but not too different.

^same. I used to play this shit @ lan parties all the time back in the betas. it sucked hard when steam took over, it sucked hard when source came out, and will probably suck at first when a new engine is implemented. but like ray says, "That's the fuckin way she goes."

Lets not make CS, CoD.

I love all the old games where cross hairs played a bigger part. Iron sights = gay. Game makers need to find the sweet spot between good game play and reality/good graphics.

Games like CoD4, MW2, any of that shit.. They are all flavor of the month games that hardly last until the next pile of crap MP game/5 hour SP is released.

CS went strong for like 5 years, and CSS is now going on to close to that... I hope valve keeps it real with CS3, and doesn't make any dramatic changes.

No Iron sights(besides scopes), NO fag ass UAV, NO gay ass off map air strikes or helo strike pl0x

I think counter strike would be on a safe path if they leaned towards more realism in the way the combat happens am I right?

i happend on CSS too late so it dosnt have any nestalga for me so i have no real reason to stay with it i only play cuz its fun and has good gameplay. i would love a graphic upgrade source engin is way too old valve needs to make a new engine before they make a new CS
