Police..

Fuck 'em.

I have always been respectful of law enforcement, but some motherfucker calls my house at 11:45PM and accuses two of my roommates of being liars and accessories to a crime. A FUCKING TRAFFIC CRIME OF ALL THINGS. One of my house mates picks up, and this asshole asks for "Sue". There is no Sue at my house, I don't even know a Susan. Then he grills my roommate for 5 minutes about Sue, while he repeatedly says "I don't know a Susan, I have no idea what you are talking about." Finally the guy gets aggressive and starts asking about my roommate and finally my roommate replies, "I can't tell you anything about myself, because I have no way in knowing who YOU are." Then this guy says that my roommate will be considered an accessory after the fact, and my boy hangs up. At no point did this fucker identify himself.

Little back story:

Some cunt calls my house on Tuesday. I pick up. She asks for Susan. I tell her there is no one by that name here. She tells me Susan hit her car and said that since Susan wanted to keep it away from the insurance companies and police she agreed to take Susan's number and call her with the damage estimate. Now she was going to have to go to the police. I suggested that would be a good idea. Then she asks for Susan again. I tell her I don't own a car, and don't know any Susan.

I am sure by now you are thinking what I was, "Bitch, you got fucked. You were too stupid to take down proper information from the tweaked out bitch who hit your car, and now its everybody else's fucking problem."

So I tell her, "I am sorry, ma'am, but she probably gave you bad information." She says she has 'my' license plate number. I re-iterate that I don't own a car, and that I am A MAN. She says AGAIN she is going to the police, and I say "I think that's a good idea, I am sorry about this, I really wish I could help."

Flash forward to today, the roommate who just hung up on the cop doesn't remember that I told him about this a day ago. Phone rings again, I am out front having a smoke. My other roommate picks up the phone, and goes through the whole thing again with the same guy.

Apparently the woman who called and talked to me is saying that she called this house and spoke to Susan on Tuesday. Unfortunately, my two roommates are too absent minded to come and get me on the phone to sort this thing out. The cop now threatens to 'pay us a visit'. The cop says, 'We have your address, 228 Johnston Street'. My roommate says, 'That's not this address, once again, you have the wrong house.' Unfortunately, my roommate gave him our address (which he should already know if he is calling us).

"Your cooperation is noted." . Click.

Check your information before you randomly start calling and accusing people at the behest of some woman who probably sucked her way through eighth grade. I hope that woman never finds the lady who hit her car, I hope she has to remortgage her house to pay for the damage. Lying doesn't change the fact that you didn't get the proper information, and that you can't cry your way into getting your car fixed. Oh, and when you call someone, be rude to them, lie to the police so they call at midnight, please be a little smarter. Oh you are pretty sure you talked to a woman? That's funny, because since you didn't block your number when you called here I am pretty sure I have your name, your address and a Google-provided satellite image of your house.

I'm done. I needed to vent.. Too much end of year stress...

hahahahaha That's fucked. I had some shit like that go down, albeit much easier after I told the cop to come to my house. He wanted me to "come in"... uhhh huh, so what, so I can be held for nothing for an unspecified time for absolutely nothing? I told the cop, "Listen, come to my home, I'll give you the address. You can sit down with my and my mom, and we can all sort this out nice and quickly. Cop realized he was going nowhere and never contacted me again.

* All for an aparent hit-n-drive-off parked car damage that somebody "SUPPOSEDLY" saw my plate, even though it was never provided that way... dunno HOW the fuck they could get my number though.. probably liers lol

I dont like cops either. One day I was walking around town at night with some friends and was stopped by a cop. He ordered us to sit down at which point i said that i would prefer standing. Then he threatened me and told me to sit down so i did. He proceeded by asking us if we knew where someone who had a name that sounding something like "DaLaw" was... I said "buddy, you are DaLaw!"

He said that she (the law is a she?) was with Hank, and asked us if we knew Hank... WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!?!?!?

He followed up this statement by saying that if we didnt cooperate and give him the information that he wanted then he would show up at our houses and arrest us... i was like, 14 at the time... COME ON!!!

always, ALWAYS request a police officer's name and badge number if they contact you over the phone or stop you in person. they are required to provide you with that information. if they refuse over the phone, tell them to have a nice day and hang up. you need one or both of these things to lodge a complaint against a given officer. no, nothing significant will likely happen after your complaint, but if a cop wracks up enough complaints, something WILL happen.

EDIT: if they refuse in person, well then you should be scared. lawl

foxx, your a funny guy telling the boydem you would rather stand and cracking a joke, too. luckily you didnt match the description and get arrested for that. anyhow cops have enough power if you want to be a dick i suggest the best option is to point a cellphone discretely at them and remain silent the whole time. maybe provide your own ID, where you are coming from, and where you are going. should be enough to get you set free.

I have a cop shop story for you...
Drew and I were on the way with my gf to pick up two more people for our Sudbury camping trip.. Well North of Toronto some guy starts tail gating me... So I hit the breaks hoping this guy will get the fuck off my ass..
Well he pull up beside me and yells over my gf in the passenger seat, "YOU GOT A FUCKING PROBLEM?! WANT TO PULL OVER AND TALK ABOUT IT?"
I turn to him and should, "No thnx, I dont want to get punched, dont fucking TAIL GATE ME !"
Now this douche flashing a badge and tells me to pull over.
I do in a parking lot and get out of my car, I didnt really see the badge and wanted to see what was up.
Well this fascist grabs my forearm, pushes me back into the van, threatens to "punch me now and ask questions later" "SEE MY PARTNERS GUN!?!? WE WILL SHOOT YOU!" and more along these lines...
He was some OPP faggit with no jurisdiction in the city and he threatens to shoot me....
When he was pulling away, I managed to get in the last words, "Thanks For Not Shooting Me"
Some people should be drowned at birth.

lol cops are dumbasses. i had these two friends who were mad drug dealers and one was currently caught with posession of cocaine, so he ran. he didnt go home, he didnt go to school. i had no idea where he went but he wasnt anywhere to be found.
my other friend was home alone one night, so at around 1 in the morning, he decided to smoke up--heard an aggressive banging on the front door so he went to answer it. 2 cops burst into his house, did a full search demanding he show them where his friend was hiding. the kid was shitting himself because he had all his shit out on the table in the living room. thankfully they didnt see it (i dont know HOW..) and then left minutes later when they couldnt find him, and threatened him that he could go to jail as well for hiding his friend xD
it was hilarious the way he explained it the next day. i remember it clearly. little white gangster kid with over-sized clothing, tripping balls with a group of stoners around him in a circle. i think he was still baked...

Aside for being pulled over for the car i was driving, i have never had any "bad" experience with cops. I cooperate and keep my mouth shut and they never give me any problems.

Same here. I've never had any bad experiences with the police. I even talked my way out of a potential ticket once.

My dad was a cop for 20 years. Some things he taught me.

You have the legal right not to speak to the police whether you are under arrest or otherwise, politely say "I really don't want to speak to you in the event I may say something incriminating". Keep it very basic, name, address etc, that's all they need to know.

And don't fall for that sob story &quot:oh yeah when they need us we are there", cops are dicks, my dad can't stand cops and he said 90% of the guys he worked with were cocksuckers and assholes.

I had a run in 3 years ago with an incredibly stupid RCMP member, it was comical and the guy got so mad he hung up on me. Basically trying to scare me into talking about someone else who I was hunting with who wasn't supposed to have guns (no he's not dangerous long story).

Man that's one fucking fucked up story.

See in Highschool when I lived in NY The cops just thought I was guilty of something. I've been arrested 4 times with out charges, and have been held for 24 hours with out them calling my parents (totally fucking illegal for a minor).

Since moving to Toronto I haven't been arrested once. I've had cops tail me and that's been it.
<3 Toronto.
