The sad part is, not all cops are like this. It gives those few cops who actually do something good for people a bad name.

Today I got pulled over by a popo with radar gun doing around 80 in a 40, jumped out the bushes and ran in front of me and pointed to pull over. Asked me where I was speeding too and I told him the bank. Then he saw I had a kandura lying in the passenger seat and I was speeding for the sake of God (on my way to mosque for jumma). He gave me a $50 ticket for failure to provide insurance (pretend he didint see my insurance card and just provided him with ownership) and told me to go to court and they would drop the charges instead of a $200 ticket for speeding.

Last week I was with a few friends smoking in High Park. Two cops on bikes passed us by and said we should be more careful some people may not appreciate us smoking there. They winked at us and moved on winking at us and not disturbing us. mfw we were scattering trying to hide two bongs and other paraphernalia and the cops simply gave us a warning u.u.

I'm of the mind that the more respect we show police, and the more we treat them like human beings, the more they are willing to reciprocate. Speaking as someone who worked in a position of authority where I got no respect, I know how strong the temptation is to just be a fucking jerk and tread all over people but whenever I got to deal with someone who was nice and respectful it instantly made me regret abusing my authority moments before when I was giving it to some asshole just cuz.

I personally couldn't care less for cops. They're all faggots. Instead of going and finding faggots who vandalize vehicles, damage businesses, shoot people etc., they wait in bushes, catching my mom doing 10 over while en route to buy groceries after her 12 hour shift. FUCK them, I couldn't feel more strongly about it.

i'm just saying in general cuz every time a story like this pops up people hop on the fuck-cops bandwagon. i also don't get why people say cops should go catch real criminals. there are these things called detectives whose job it is to first find the real criminals and build a case before they can get the cruiser jocks to grab them and actually hold them. so the guys in uniform could either be sitting in a doughnut shop waiting, or on the street catching "petty criminals" which includes negligent drivers who don't obey the rules of the road and wind up causing collisions. there's nothing petty about trying to enforce the common rules of the road to keep other drivers and pedestrians safe from reckless fucks who never pause to think about how much inertia they have in that 2-tonne rocket roaring down the road at 60kmph+

State Trooper was chasing him for the vehicle being marked as part of a bank robbery in Richardson. The guy bolted once the car wouldn't drive anymore and was about to jump the railing from the highway, until he got two good ones in his back from the trooper. ._.
I think it's the rumors and annoyance of possible corruption that has everyone thinking they're the bad guys. At least CAN police don't kidnap you right?

The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, " Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me!" Reaching into his rear pants pocket, the arrogant officer removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher. "See this f*****g badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish.... On any land !! No questions asked or answers given!! Have I made myself clear......do you understand ?!!"
The rancher nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores. A short time later, the old rancher heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher's big Santa Gertrudis bull...... With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he'd sure enough get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified. The rancher threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs.....
"Your badge, show him your f*****g BADGE........ !"
