i was going to write a big essay outlining my trip, but i keep puting it off..

so here are my photos, there are not many because i did not take many.

i took my film camera with me and only shot through about 10 rolls.

i also did this 2 week trip entirely on my own

London

London was expensive and dirty, with ZERO attractive people, other than the obvious tourists.

Paris

Paris was less expensive, but REALLY dirty, i got assaulted by a crazy leroy chick on the subway for taking her photo, except i never took her photo!
The food in paris was great, and you can drink on the streets, no hassle from the cops.

Barcelona

Barcelona is the most chill place i have been to in awhile, everyone is so laid back its not even funny, all the major stores are closed on the weekends, streets are clean, the sun is nice, and lots of eye candy.


Brugge

I saw the movie "In Brugge" and wanted to go to Brugge, so i did.
I climbed the tower, i saw the swans, visisted the windmills, and hooked up with a chick for one night the day i got there... only thing missing from the movie script is a midget and me shooting someone...

Amsterdamn

i dont have many photos for amsterdam, i was mostly high, and drunk.

i did rent a bicycle, and ride around listening to music after smoking a J, it was awesome.

1000-1400 for a plane ticket

average cost of a hostel per night, 18 euro per night, less during off seasons.

transportation between places, either by plane or train, expect to spend around 400 dollars in total, flights in europe are really cheap if you can plan ahead, i overpaid for my "rail pass", could have saved a couple of bills.

i spent exactly 6 euros on souviners...

average attraction/museum cost, 9 euro's for a "student"

food - this depends, resturant meals are expensive, if you get a hostel with a kitchen, making your own shit cuts down the cost significantly.

drinks - booze costs about the same

i think i burned through about 3500 all said and done, but i drank very little (maybe 2 pints a day, tops, if at all), made my cigarettes last, and didnt dine out that much, and if i did eat, i tried to find budget places or made my own food.

Fork .. are all the pics on film... if so what film / ISO did you use. Lucky you for not getting it fried in security examination... usually X-ray damages emulsion beyond repair...

i went in may and we went to paris, london, rome, aussisi and florance.
best memories of my lifeeee lol especially since it was with a bunch of my friends.

Some really nice pics Fork. Looks like Barcelona was the best place to take pictures :).

But ... you really need to work on those stairs - focus is kind of off :P.
Smoke less ... concentrate more .

i loved europe also. the architecture of that one basilica in barcelona is amazing! i also slept on the main public beach in barcelona for a night <--- gypsy! , 4 people into 2 person tent. good times indeed.

word on the street is, ISO800 and less, if you take it with on the carry on, nothing will happen. I got hit about 5 times with light machines, and as you can see, no problems.

now, if you give your film to the cargo scanners, then you're fucked.

dude, you try shooting at ISO100 in pitch black!

Fork ... FYI .... the carry on Xray is hit and miss. For example in Kenya .. they have the carry on scanner at full the same as luggage scanner... I know because after working at Kodak for 25 years.. I saw it all. I have seen many rolls of film fried by Xray over the years. The best thing to do is if possible buy the film in the country you are visiting ... and then get it developed there as well. The Xray is cumulative ... which means if you take from country to country before getting it processed it will more than likely be fried...
