Well it's actually the man's sperm that determines the sex of the child. And here's another thing you youngins might need to know in the future (being a father, and at the time trying to get my wife pregnant, I looked this stuff up): the male sperm swims faster, but the female sperm lives longer. There is only a 48-72 hour window in a whole month to get your girl preg. Males sperms live about 48 hrs, female ones can live up to 72 hrs.

48-72 hours window in a month? really, are you sure, at some point i believed that but when i asked a specialist out of curiosity he said something that getting pregnant is a lot more easier than you think.(unless of course you have sex once a month, then you only have 48-72 hour window LOL)
