Old Laptop Ram

Hey guys, my mom's using my brother's OOOOOLD Lenovo laptop just for basic shit, but it's hitting the shitter... it's only got 256MB Ram DDR. It's slow as Christ, and I'm wondering if anyone has any old DDR RAM sticks lying around that they're not using...

Help a brother out ? :)

If its for simple purposes(e.g email, internet) Through on a distro of Xubuntu Linux. I did for my parents and it works great. Free aswell.

You don't need old DDR Ram BJ, you need old DDR SoDIMM ram . Check out www.kijiji.ca, used that place to find some old DDR Ram myself, 4x512mb for my old as fuck machines. There was a few SoDIMM adds, just make sure you memtest86 the memory before buying.
