We just had the 3rd biggest stock drop in our history of american stocks a couple of days ago. The last 8 years have been leading up to that. Who is the president? George W. Bush. What is he? A republican! Another pawn in the redneck agenda.

The republicans are at fault, the democrats are here to help. It's American history. I'm not saying there has never been a decent republican president, but they are few and far inbetween.

Bill Clinton was an amazing president of recent times, and he was a democrat.

Well it was Clinton and the Dems that started this whole Banking/Mortgage loan disaster, the Rep's didn't help with the "a house for every family" policy, but it was Clinton admin that it going with "every American can have a loan" policy and forcing the banks to lend when they wouldn't have normally.

I think Reagan and bush Sr were good Rep prez. Clinton was good too. I'm not bashing all the policies of Dems, just they are very "me me me, socialists". Sort of a mix of our Liberals and NDP parties in Canada.

I'm a capitalist Remy. Obviously Afghanistan had to happen and Canada joined that. Iraq was a mistake, but once in, US has to clean up their mess. My fear is the Dems will pull out within the yr and all hell will break lose in that country after that. Back to square one. Obviously Canada is not the great mighty country of USA, but that is partly by choice, not ability. Canada more or less let's USA defend N.A and we concentrate on World peace keeping. In WW2, for a small country (< 30 Million at the time), Canada put up some serious numbers of troops, equipment and planes and pilots. We had the 3rd largest navy in the World, behind USA and Britain, in that order.
Not bad at all.

Canada is trying to do our part in Afghan. If/when US pulls out of Iraq, all those insurgents will show up in Afghanistan. Just perfect, thks again Dems.

The US no matter how much the world likes it, needs to rebuild and solve thier finnancial crisis. Check out the documentary I.O.U.S.A. After and only after that can the entire world bounce back. most of the world depends on the United states as the main source of income. and with americans pinching pennies theres not alot of spending which is driving companies down the drain.

But with Obama in and his ideas of protectionism its only going to hurt everyone more importantly canada. as we are one of the largest exporters of resources to the US our exports will drop and we are going to crash as well. But the us still needs our resouces in the sense that they may not be able to produce the amount needed in the long run.

Just hope that the Chinese dont demand thier money from the US treasury and screw the entire world over.

well its not the entire middle east that has a problem. But more along the lines of people taking land that wasnt thiers in the first place. but then again whos drawing lines. The biggest areas of trouble imo is in afghanistan and iraq. where as you said steve 911 was started by the US and only after 911 did the war on terror happen (its not a war on terrorism its a war for oil and capitalism) and iraq well thats just a war on oil both of which is fault of the US both training terrorists and giving weapons of mass destruction. weapons that are still problaby at area 51.
