(Not Newb) Why didn't SB Upgrade to 1.4.9?

I was wondering this too.

But Jakk asked me a while back to ask either LB or SJ to update it, and I can't remember which gave me the answer, but they said that the update isn't that important.

Our boys have a fine handle on things, not to mention any one half-experienced in the IT industry knows you don't just update to the newest release without realizing fully the possible ramifications.

Strange if it is not that important. I believe that 1.4.11 added stability fixes when banning from inside the server, where sometimes a ban would not enact until the server itself was restarted. Either way, it is their decision on whether or not to update software given how our GSP is...not exactly 'stable'.
