Well, often when ppl post, their comments are critiqued by one degree or another. So either my joke was a complete zero, or people just didn't get it. :)

You should have read my comments when Musharif declared Pakistan's constitutiuon on suspension and ordered an emergency police state.

Lawyers in Pakistan took to the streets in protest and were being beaten and arrested and dragged in to paddy wagons.

my comments went something like:
After 10 yrs of Marshal law, it's a great day for Democracy as 1000's of Pakistani lawyers are being beaten and arrested in the streets. In a show of solidarity, the America Government is buying a Air Pakistan airline ticket for each and every lawyer in America!

It went on like that. :)
