I've accumulated $110 in future shop gift certificates.

I am going to get the console, an additional nunchuk and remote, and Wii Sports resort which comes with 2 motion plus dongles for the controllers. comes to $395 including taxes and shipping.

Also I plan on soft modding the system as soon as i get it so i can download the games for free.

Anyone know more about the wii? good games/accessories for it?

im not gonna mod systems anymore. the Wii broke that for me. Now every system iis hooked up to the internet they can throw out new updates left and right, it becomes too much of a hassle, id rather just rent/buy the game.
I found out (from modding my PS2) if i didnt pay for it myself, i wouldnt even dedicate time to finishing any of the games i played.

Anyways i reccommend Mario Galaxy, Super smash bros, and Red steel to start.

and AGREE ISEIZE! I was temped to get a 360 and mod it, but it will end up like my PS2, lots of pirated games, but never spends any time on them.

for my PS3 is a different story, I need to get my moneys worth on those games.. lol

Wii modding is pretty hilarious, slightly confusing given the underage forums that must be lurked to figure out what to do, but the "modchip" for the wii is just an SD card with a few files on it.

I hooked up 500GB usb drive to the back and am using WiiFlow to load games, I feel like I am walking into EB games when it boots up haha.
