Ninja defuse + HOW-TO: view demos!

Ok, so lately I've been wanting to try something new. Don't get me wrong, knifing is fun, but I want something that I can look back on and ROFL you know?

So here it is, my official ninja defuse thread. Hopefully I'll be posting a lot of them, and while they may not always be successful, they are fun to watch (at least, I hope...)

But Narf!, how do I watch the demo? Easy. Download the file and put it somewhere easy to find. Next, start CS and once the menu loads, hit SHIFT+F2. This will bring up the demo loading/playing interface. Then, simply hit "Load" select the file you would like to see and it should play automatically.

I hope you'll have as much fun watching them as I did attempting them. Enjoi!

The only map I can &quot;Ninja Defuse&quot; on is Chateau, either site when the ts smoke the plant, rush in and defuse, done it more than a few times.

I'll try and grab a demo of it next time.

PS: Shift-F2 load didn't work for some reason, put the file in your cstrike folder and type in console playdemo ninja_defuse01

I've done a lot of smoke + flash defuses. But what I want to do now is just to sneak up behind them as they're planting and start defusing as soon as it's planted. If all goes well, he'll walk away looking to see if there are any CTs coming...hehe...

guys the demo needs to be placed in the CSTRIKE folder for proper viewing.

to be exact with default install steam &gt; steamapps &gt; youremail or account name &gt; cs source &gt;cstrike and just dump it in there.

then load cs:s open up console, if you don't have console enable, you may do so in option &gt; keyboard &gt; advanced &gt; enable developer console ~ and check it.

now to view the video, simply open up console ~ key beside 1 key, then type playdemo (filename) and enjoy.

or do what narf suggest shift and f2! way easier! lol
