That's even dumber. If I'm trying to hit a 100mph fastball, it's implied that I'd be stepping up to the plate and perceivably they put a competent pitcher on the mound. Why would I dodge it? Unless it's being thrown at me -- then yeah...but it'd also mean the pitcher is a nincompoop.

And baseball isn't a sport because it doesn't really require you be in good shape (but it helps -- then again, it helps with golf too. Guess what! Golf isn't a sport either!). Baseball is a skilled game, much like darts, golf, and billiards/pool. So what if Ortiz can hit a home run? Can he out run me?

Agree keep it locked out forever...... NHL playoffs can't even half compete with the NFL DRAFT.


Part of the reason MLB doesn't have a lockout is because there is no salary cap like the other sports. O yeah btw GO O's haha
