I like Tampa right now. Not sure what is going on with goalies but if stamkos matured any over the break they should have another stellar season. I also like LA and Philly. Should be a good season!

Hard to tell what the Pens will do with Crosby still an unknown. With him, they have to be one of the favorites.

Even if Crosby comes back im sure he will never be the same as he used to. There has been speculation over whether he should* return to the NHL. In my mind, the kid has been there, done that. He's won a Stanley cup ring, MVP, gold medal. If he was to retire early it's not like he'd necessarily be missing anything.

Yea, it's not like the NHL just had 2 Suicides and one accidental overdose in the last 4 Months...

As big a fan as i am of the Pens, i think Crosby should retire for his own safety and well-being. I doubt he will, though. He doesn't need to end up like Lindros or Savard.

One concussion is more then Enough to end someone's career. Just look at some UFC fighters who never come back 100% after being knocked out.

OK most of the those UFC fighters have been fighting for years and have probably suffered dozens of concussions lol.... and yes, he got concussions in consecutive games, one from Steckl and one from Hedman.... he'll be back, i just hope sooner rather than later :P

I highly doubt Sid the Kid will quit hockey after this, but when will the next one happen? How bad will it rock his brain this time? It's like having a countdown timer that can reach 0 anytime he goes on the ice.
