NEW Stats platform on TD servers

I would like to inform you that effective immediately, we will no longer be using hlstatsx on any of our servers, it has been replaced by gameME stats: http://torontodarkly.gameme.com/

In gane the commands such as rank, kpd, top10, next, statsme etc still work like old stats. Or you can just type gameme and stats menu will come up where you can access all of the above.

Not gonna go into all the details, however I'll humor you.

HLX requires VPN to work. VPN runs us $50 a month.
GAMEme doesn't require VPN, and costs less then $15 a month, on top of that they host all the data and stats on their databases, which makes it one less head ache for skd and budge

we're gonna bring the tf2 server back, we're on the new box, skd hasnt set it up yet, plus with the merger, we might have to hold off for a little bit longer. but have no fear tf2 WILL be back.

I dont have any fear, i could care else to be honest. Everyone complained about it being empty and that it shouldve just been shut down. Those same people HAD the game but didnt put time to help populate it with the few of us that did when it was around and bumping.

Looks like a bunch of the BP guys also play TF2, so that could possibly help us with relaunching TF2. I'm looking forward to being able to help out more this summer when I get moved into my new place!

yea i think they have TF2 players too so +1 for that, we can set up tf2 nights and both TD and BP can go play and help populate

gameMe also has a smart built in ATB that seems to use stats as well in choosing which player to swap. So we removed the old TB and are currently using the gameMe ATB. So far, WIN!

Good news about TF2, haven't touched the game in months, but will get the TD server going when its up and running, with more help/players from BP in the fold it could be an interesting summer.

PS: TF2 updates are double that of CS, if you need help in getting the server updated on a regular basis i'm around.
