New Server

A few things I've noticed on the new server:

• When walking take off the footstep sounds.
• The walk speed seems to be a little faster.
• No round limitations, just time.
• I love the registration.

I think I passed Propoganda the wrong server.cfg file last night. We can tweak those settings up though.

Keep the ideas/inputs coming guys/gals

I would like to see a minimum of two people in server at all times (bots). If one person joins give them a bot to play with until more people can join.

also, if possible, have day-time rotation be restricted to the super popular maps (dust, dust2, office, cbble etc)

so that weird shit like lego_pira doesnt show up and just scare everyone away.

also i support the idea of having bots, 3-4, and have their AI as high as possible :)

the problem with bots is that you cant make them "smart"

i think the only real variable is how accurate they are.. i think its possible to make them real "aim bots" hahahaha

certain people have lost admin and have been banned on mahone's server. stve says he's banned and spinny just told me he lost his admin. i think it's safe to say mahone's at least started to figure it out.

Yes he does. He has not made it public yet, but some of us including myself are banned from the td.com and some are banned from servers. Not that it matters anyways.

Surprisingly there was a lot of randoms playing on it last night. But how long will that last? All the regulars are gonna come here. :) Plus is he gonna bare the cost of 700 all by himself?

truth be told, i have had so much fun playing the last couple of days on this new server mainly due to the large increase in skill level.

on a good night on regular TD its a no brainer to start getting a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio when on a team of 10-15 people only 1 or 2 are good, the rest are just there for the picking.

when everyone is good, everyones scores even out, and the level of entertainment just goes way up.

holy shit 700?! i played on jeffys cheap server and it ran great, for only like 50 a month! How much are we paying for this new one? it runs great, just some tweaking needed, the speeds are too fast, u make sounds walking if u turn while walking.
