New PL Maps

Here is a thread of (possible) additions to the PL server as we only have a 3 map rotation thus far.

I've taken these from FPS Banana, where I searched for all PL maps and sorted by most downloaded:

So that is my possibility list - please contribute any more maps that you would like to see on the server.

And to Prop or Budget (or whoever else is responsible for the maps) there is no rush on these maps, I just wanted to get an open dialog going on some possible new maps.

yes please new maps! im new to tf2 and have only played on the td servers so far and im getting sick of the maps already heh

This has already been discussed in previous posts. Before adding maps TD wants to get a solid player base first. Last time new moas were added I believe people left due to the fact that they had to download the map or that current group of players disliked the next maps. It always ended up with an admin changing the map back to either badwater or goldrush.

Frontier looks excellent. We still have customs on the server, just not in rotation. I like custom maps. I say we maybe introduce them 1 at a time, see how they do. The pl server is busy enough I think, but we don't want to drop a bunch of customs in all in one shot. The cp server seems to be sucking it up the past few days, we need to work harder to get it going, if we can't keep it going we will need to change it up, perhaps a pl customs only server?

yah, I proposed that before. Introduce 1 at a time and see how they play. When I was on the server and noticed that there was a consistent amount of players every time the map changed I'd put up a vote for swiftwater and most if not all the time
it would pass and people would enjoy it.

PL server is now pretty much full when I play 9:30PM ~ midnight, so yeah add 1 map at a time, say the most popular (Frontier) start of Jan. then another in Feb. if all is well.
