Whoa sig.. please fix that. EDIT: Sig fixed, thanks a lot Xilorator :D

Shorty - looks amazing dude. Depending on what you'll be playing, you could step down to a 670 and save over $100 (to get a proper case like the Cooler Master HAF 932, or an SSD). The big, old-school hard-drives will undoubtedly bog your whole system down.

In a $1K rig, it's hard to justify a 680GTX, more likely a 660ti to 670.
And from the notes for PC Part Picker, "Asus P8Z77-V LK ATX LGA1155 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports." If you have or plan to have an USB 3.0 devices, consider either a better case or a USB3.0 bay device.

Pro Tip: when buying a good card, like you're intending to buy Shorty (good on you!), don't buy a medium-tower. The back of the Graphics card might literally jam the hard-drive cage shut, as in make it inaccessible, if it will fit at all. Be careful!!!

But great setup so far!

For the one in my link, you need to manually type in the tejs for some strange reason.
With that being said, I can't really get it below 1k can I with a monitor/keyboard/mouse right?

Also differences between the radeon I chose and the 670?

Edit: any specific case you recommend bj? I can't browse the site at work from my phone. =(

as far as cases go, u want something with huge fans. large fans seem to be quieter. but main thing u r looking for is dat airflow :datass: !

Shorty, HAF X is one BADASS case! I got my bro's wife to get him one for Christmas, but not before I played around with it and saw all of it up close... pure quality man... wow. You're going to love it! And good setup, that's an awesome PC!

So before i decide to go ahead and order the parts, is there anything i should change/look out for? I shouldnt have any problems attempting to put it together/fitting the parts?

That build looks amazing!
Only two things I would change are:

1 ) Windows 7 - I can give you a free copy (yes, it works with a crack, but I've not had anything fail or deactivate on me since BEFORE Windows 7 was formally released: I have it on my PC, laptop, bro's computer, cousin's (SonDoobius) computer, and my other cousin's PC = ZERO issue, and all updates work fine as normal :D )

2 ) I would beef up your power supply a little bit. 650W may do the job, but I would bump it up for an extra $__ . I might pick:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139022&cm_sp=Cat_Power Supplies-_-YTCAVideo-_-YT17-139-022 ($139 @ NewEgg Canada)

She's a good one :D Only down side is it's not modular (individual cables can be disconnected from the power supply if not in use, so it keeps the case cleaner) - BUT, the HAF X has a shroud that covers the excess cabling of the power supply, so that will be totally in check anyway :D
