Need Mac Help

Here's the scoop, me and one of my co workers are trying to be proactive and learn Mac os, before we have train some one that we hire on it. We have been lucky so far to only have Windows pc's come through, but we know it is only time before we get a Mac.

I have a MacBook, running Leopard or Snow Leopard, but I have no administrative privileges. What I would like to do is wipe the computer and reload everything on it, but I don't know where to start.

1. Where can I find previous versions of Mac os to buy. I don't think I can run Lion, because I believe this pc has Mac processor and not an intel.

2. Can someone give me a rundown on the "command prompt" or whatever it is called in mac to be able to wipe and reload this pc.

Thanks, HBC

1. If that computer isn't an Intel give it back. You should install Snow Leopard it's the only version of Mac I would suggest at the moment, any thing less is pure shit

2. The fuck you need Terminal for? You so lost bro, terminal should only be used for Unix commands.

You got Skype or something? I can really help you out a ton you know, being a certified Apple Fag and all.

I do have Skype

1. Can't return it, bought it about four years ago when I started back playing css so I could keep the girl off my pc.
2. IDK

So is Mac set up like Linux, where to get the most out of it have to partition it and set it up myself, or can I just insert the cd and let it do its thing. Maybe sometime this weekend we can get on Skype, I have a magnitude of questions.

Yea, that sounds like a good idea or even mumble, but before that I need to know if it's intel. It will seriously be a trip through hell if it isn't.

Do you know the Model? MacBook? MacBook Pro?PowerBook? iBook?
If You can turn it on and get to a desktop, go to the Apple Menu (top left) then About This Mac Tell me everything you see.
