Well, with anything, time dulls all thrills. I wouldn't expect this to last me forever, but as i'm temporarily bored with CS for the moment, this is enjoyable.

The single player campaign was confusing. Story wise, i didn't really get most of it. But, the assault on washington D.C. was damn fun to play. And even more so since just this past summer I was in D.C. and visited every monument that you fought on.. the world war 2 memorial was especially cool to shoot it out on.

Anyway, games fun for me for now. I expect i'll be back to CS within the coming month or two, and ill probably play a few levels in the campaign a few more times before putting this one up on the shelf to collect dust.

cs with a bit better graphics, 1.6 physics n rates, and multicore rendering so you don't need a 4.0Ghz processor to see some fps. DONE, that's all I ask.

Probably not going to happen. I can see it going two ways

1) Valve makes HL3, releases next release of counterstrike as a MP component. We, by proxy, become dinosaurs and rant on about how much better source is than CS3.

2) Valve never makes HL3 (unlikely) or CS3 (not so unlikely) but still retains the copyright, and sues the bejezuz out of anybody who slaps a CSS on their Unreal total conversion mod. Instead you'll see CounterTerroristStrike, which is a spiritual successor to source. We, by proxy, become dinosaurs and rant on about how much better source is than CounterTerroristStrike.

yeah, a decent group of us were playing over a few weeks. The problem was the fact everytime we tried to buddy up, we'd join a server and one of us wouldn't connect cuz something about IWNet fucked up. Then a host leaves, then the game basically ends. Rinse and repeat. Fucking MW2, total cash grab. I mean, for console, the game is decent. Online PC? Fucking toilet paper

this game is awesome, i know there are skeptics out there. but cod will not die. if the first one didnt die, niether will this one. This my friends is the new halo franchize. besides on the console this game is toooooo goood.

i have been playing mw2 since christmas and havent gotten bored. the main reason being that its so much fun. yeah i cry a lot because its the gayest game in the world but you cant put on super speed and infinite running in css and run around and murder fools like im leroy. Its just plain entertaining! i dont play it for getting high scores all the time i play it and mix it up, use a lot of weapons, and just dick around and be gay.

the Two Player Spec Ops is fucking awesome, If no one has played it before i suggest you try it. The game play is much better.
It gets harder as you go along and makes you really think about strategy.

yes its great but i think after the 3rd tier it gets too hard too fast. almost to the point where it ruins the fun. veteran is waay too hard on some of those levels
