Anyone know if its worth getting? I haven't spoken to anyone that has actually used it yet...is it even out?

Anyway, if someone does have it, recommends it, AND has a link to torrent it, I'm all down for downloading it

Due out July 15 (according to my store - Future Shop). I'm getting full legit for $20 through some work-training program. I'll let you know once I get my hands on it.

Won't be buying/using this software based on the principal that Office hasn't really needed an upgrade since 2003. Even 2000 is still sufficient.

Find 2007 a lot easier than 2003

Mainly use Access, PPT, Word and Excel

Not sure how they could have made 2010 much better than 07

I dunno about 2010, but 2007's great. I would recommend that, and if you'd like, I can send you a torrent over.

I've been testing the 2010 beta for some time now. overall, there isn't much of a difference between 2007 and 2010. Some slight changes of the ribbon/main menu.

If you have 2007 already, don't think 2010 would be worthwhile. If you're still running 2003 or lower, definitely get 2010.

MS Office 2010 I would categorize as an Enterprise product. It now integrates with SharePoint 2010 for Social Networking as well as offers some tools for SP2010. From a Home User perspective it doesn't offer anything surprisingly new aside from a new interface. If you can get it for cheap through being student or through training then get it, if not and you are happy with your current solution then ignore it. I do say the social networking in the new version is cool, especially when using SharePoint 2010 & MySites.
