I use Windows sensitivity 6/11 with enhance pointer precision unchecked, Steel Series Sensei DPI at 450, Polling Rate 1000Hz, and CS:GO sensitivity 2 with raw input off (2 - 2.5 should be fine).

Why is the DPI so low?
To be completely honest, the reason that I have it so low is simply because I read that most of the professionals use between 400-800 DPI. I've since learned that they use low DPI simply because that was what was available back in the late 90s when many of them were just starting to get into the professional scene. I've also read that having 2000-3000 DPI is completely unnecessary, but I can't speak with any authority to that. You could probably find equivalent feeling sensitivity settings for 3000 something DPI, but you'd probably have to set your CS:GO sensitivity to something under 1. You want low sensitivity in general, though, because you'll be a lot more accurate. Just make sure that you can easily do a 180 turn and you should be good.

What resolution so you play on?

I guess if you have a lower res you can see everything much easier. I'm currently using 1800 dpi and it seems to have improved my accuracy immensely. I have yet to try the low dpi since it will take time to adjust. I want to see immediate results!
Last month I actually experimented with different resolution settings. I tried a 4:3 resolution stretched to fill my whole screen. The biggest advantage to this is that everything is a lot larger, especially heads. The biggest problem, though, is that your vertical sensitivity feels different compared to your horizontal sensitivity. It was fucking me up big time, so I just went back to my monitor's native resolution.

I have sensitivity to 1 and raw input ON

My DPI changes from 700~1600

You really need to just fuck with settings. Lower sensitivity gives you higher accuracy, I know there's a ton of info on mouse sensitivity in this forum do a search.

I've settled with 1300 DPI; 2.2 Sensi; 500 Polling Rate; windows 6/11; Raw-input ON.

I haven't toyed with the resolution yet however.

I'm actually trying out 1.8 sensitivity in CS:GO atm, with all of my other settings the same. 2.0 no longer feels precise enough for me for some reason. I think that it has something to do with the changes that TD has been making to the rates in the server. I'd turn down my DPI/CPI instead to 400 from 450 if I could, but my mouse drivers seem to only allow me to adjust in increments of 90.

I wrote a post awhile back on how to find perfect mouse settings for any game, any setting on your mouse

As to DPI's affect on accuracy in relation to this, only a tech pro would really know I guess.
My deathadder 2014 is now set at 500poll, 800dpi, ingame 1.3 sensativity.
CS would not allow me to set sens low enough at it's max settings.
I have read it's good to stick to the mouse's native factory resolution for best results.

if you scale your ingame sens properly with your dpi, you will barely notice a difference.
