Mouse is half-ass broken

So, it was italy, and I jumped down to pwn some noobles, and my mouse slipped off the side of my mouse pad and I couldn't turn to kill him, and he killed me.

It doesn't happen very often, but I lost my temper and slammed my mouse down, and now my wheel doesn't work

Lol Leroy I have done that a million times. Usually I can just open up my mouse and re set the whell in its housing. Hopefully that will fix yer problem.

i make sure that the wire isn't long enough to touch the ground :)
set your mouse up so that when it falls it comes a few inches from the ground

I dunno, I prefer not to use wireless, and my mouse has a dpi of 1400, not that it prevents me from sucking.

Not sure I comepletly understand your question.
Both are &quotptical mouse, i.e. no roller ball and both use a red LED, just that the laser has a red LED laser (like in a CD/DVD player) which gives it more intensity and can thus be used on a few more surfaces without fking up. So I'd say laser mouse is better, but not in DPI, just mouse pad surface tolerance is greater.

For gaming, hardwired > then cordless > Narf > Leroy

I think he meant he slammed it down on his desk, I used to do that all the time with my mx510 haha, but i always second guess doing it with my deathadder
