im looking at getting a 27" or 30" led monitor for myself but i dont realy know anything about led monitors, wondering if they are worth it and what a good price is.

If you're doing anything where you need real good colour accuracy, stick with LCD. Computer LED's are not good at all for colour perfection. The picture IS wicked, but it's way off on that aspect, keep that in mind.

Other than that, check out i-INC (commonly found @ Canada Computers / Tiger Direct), they use the same panels found in Pioneer Elite Plasma TV's (one of the best TV's out there).

+1, stick with 16:9, 16:10 is a marketing gimmick...

LCD are power hungry

LED are more expensive but a green choice.

im saving up for a top of the line LED currently. Think ill get asus or samsung.

Clash that monitor you posted actually looks pretty sick for the price... find out who makes asus and who's panels they use...
