good luck on the apartment search im doing the same thing in oshawa atm, pain in the ass and i dont have a pet to consider.

but i gotta say, this made me lol

if you were to find your ideal place in the ideal location and for the ideal price and you couldn't swing it because the dog doesn't like stairs then yeah that sounds like control.

for him, the ideal place would include somewhere he can bring his dog. some dogs actually cant do stairs, and if it's an older dog he's looking at the risk of actual injury and vet bills...
