Read up on it, it has been marked down as a scam and a lot of people got scammed out of millions i have 56 Bit Coins. they might be good for visual items but for real money a lot of people got scammed and some got sued i believe.

I don't see any valid arguments proving that bitcoins is a scam. Also, without bitcoins, Silk Road couldn't be possible

It's still not a scam. I agree it has its flaws and it won't ever replace the world's currency, but I see how it can be useful in this day and age. Bitcoins are good for anonymous payments and to be honest, just that.
