Got my internet. Mass Effect was $4.99. Now everything else in my life is on hold because this game is SO FUCKING AWESOME.

I am looking forward to getting Mass Effect 2 once I am done the first one. It was 40% off on Steam, but I didn't want to make the same mistake as the Total War series and buy it without knowing how I liked it. Wooo. I should be back to BC2 and CS soon. First me and Shepard gotsta kick some fucking ass.

Anybody else take advantage of the sale and love this game like strawberry flavored buttsex?

I've heard a lot about it - haven't tried it myself. Glad you found a good game to play. For me, I've been in retro mode for the last little while having N64 parties with goldeneye n shit.

Keeripes, I have Mass Effect 2, you and I should swap disks and keys. There's no online component to it, so we should be able to install and play it, no? BTW I'm not anywhere near done ME2, so maybe I should download a copy of ME1.

i loved mass effect. perfect blend of shooter with RPG. ME2 was just a crappy tps almost all rpg mechanics were gone

been playing Fallout 3 again, with all the DLC this time that they added to it since its original release.

It's a shit load more fun now, tons of new weapons, and the new locations are sweet. I'll prolly move on to a new game after i play out the DLC though.

meh, both Mass Effect games aren't too bad... definitely couldn't play through more than once though, even though it's an RPG....

the first one all the side missions driving around on planets is gay, and the 2nd one the search for minerals on planets using those pods is even dumber...

The only thing that I found that was complete balls was the resource gathering system. Without trying to spoil too much of the story, basically if you don't get any resources, stupid shit happens. Gathering resources has to be the most balls part of the game. Other than that, a lot of things were streamlined to make it more...I dunno, for lack of a better word, mainstream? Mass Effect was pretty awesome, didn't have to reload your weapons and stuff. Mass Effect 2 was kinda gay in the sense you had to find ammo for your weapons and you were pretty fucked if you couldn't find any. The writing is pretty solid for both games, but then again, pretty much all Bioware games have solid scripts. I just wanna get Mass Effect 3 out and finish this trilogy.
