I am a smoker and I think the government should legalize it 100%. Millions are pissed away each year on small time growers and dealers that are trying to keep up with the demand. If it was regulated properly then there would be no reason for people to do shady deals with gangs and criminals when they could simply walk down to 7-11 and buy a pack which would MAKE the government money instead.

yes. then, set up an organization like the LCBO (MCBO?) and tax the shit out of marijuana but make available the best, cleanest and healthiest pot. then, with all the tax revenue from marijuana sales, put that money into drug awareness programs, lung cancer research, hard drug control, etc.

Canada is a bit relaxed, I have had to deal with cops about 3-4 times regarding weed, to the point they had the drugs in their hand and took my name, and said they could put me in jail, and just ended up letting me walk away lol. another time i was blazing in a school parking lot (on a weekend) beside a vehicle with 3 other dudes, a cop just pops around the corner "hey what are you doing?" my buddy says "we are just smoking a joint sir", cop says "you can't do that here" so we get in the car and drive away. he was like 50 feet away on foot and outnumbered so i guess that helped.

the fucked up thing is how you can produce a $1 million dollar tax free crop here, and probably not do any time if it's your first offense. likely they should have some kind of controlled retail system through lcbo type store, or just allow everyone to grow in their vegetable gardens freely along side their already legal opium poppies, that would be ideal.

Was caught with an ounce of green when i was dealing in HS. Cop told me to up-end the bag and step on it. Left me alone. I dealt it the same day.
Moral of the story: Weed won't get an average person into big shit. If they catch you with a scale and find a crop in your house, you do probation first offence

heres my idea, make it legal, accessible in convience stores and bam u've just eliminated soooooo many drug dealers that only handle budd, i say this because how come there are no alcohol dealers minus the LCBO and Beer Store....because no one would make any money off it. LOL i resent that statement i cant work and get high however i dont put the two together! I know lots of people tho who go through there everyday lives pretty high and make more money than I do,

I haven't worked 'not high' in months. I also blaze almost every day before classes..
Moderation is key when dealing with potentially harmful substances(alcohol, pain killers, coke, etc). Good thing weed isn't harmful :P
