Maps are decided by votes, dude, TD doesn't favour any map to be played more than any other... Depends on the taste of the given population my friend...

the only reason why i hate dust so much is because it was like the first map i ever played on when i first started getting into css.
every server i went on they were playing dust lol
to me, its like the noob map

Dust is so widely played because it's so balanced. You ever noticed how quickly the server gets populated when dust2 is playing? I think there are some way better maps out there though... de_cbble FTW!

de_dust is not balanced. CTs always have the advantage. Unless you have a solid T team rushing every round, CT run the show. This i why Prop made de_dust_td. I like it better than dust.
