Let's not get carried away. Lest we forget:
de_aztec
- people loved it, for a week or two. Then they cried, it was removed.
de_aztec_extended
- people loved it, for a few weeks more than the original. Then they figured it was just as hard (if not harder) for T's, it was removed.
de_dolls
- a nightmare because no one ever planted, spawns could be rushed in, literally, seconds and thus commenced the crying and, yet again, the removal.
de_cbble_extended
- much like aztec's extended version, it actually increased the T-side difficulty culminating in it's removal (not to mention weather lag issues for a majority of players).
Some maps that actually are worthy of being put up (they were taken down because of the mass vote we had which involved a bunch of people who don't play here nearly enough to truly give a meaningful say of a daily player):
de_tehdas
- fairly sided
- non-laggy
- great design
- lots of fun (represented by many, not just my biased opinion)
Also, I think it should be noted that the hard work of some have brought a few new cool maps to the rotation:
-> de_sewers (or something like that)
-> de_navalbase (or something like that)
-> de_scorch
And I'm sure there's more that worthy of a mention.
One by one people.. crowd's crave change but never readily accept it.
