Loading Game Data

A few friends try to get in the game and it says loading game data and won't let them join. The War Z forums are no help. Has anyone had this problem and/or does anyone have a solution?

define "get to the game". when launching game? when refreshing server list? when joining a server ?

Before the survivor screen.

is it updating ? or the servers might be down for an update, unless u can play and they cant

I don't think so. I think it just freezes there and stops.

tell them to try again, servers might have been down for an update

He uninstalled, then reinstalled. Same problem.
