Hey guys! I was coming to ask about the lag that has been happening on darkly. I know its not my computer because its absolutely perfect with any other server but darkly. I have asked around and other people said they only lag on darkly, so i don't think its my computer. Please don't hate in comments!

Been complaints of choke happening on the GO servers too so I guess there could be a problem with the server side of things?
Shotgun Jesus Low Budget either of you checked the servers recently for this kind of lag?

I haven't really noticed the lag. Maybe once in a while but that's pretty normal as far as I'm concerned.

I find that de_piranesi to be the only map to cause lag consistently but that's already being discussed in another thread.

As .44 said, I find the lag to be intermittent - for moments here and there, and as far as I'm concerned, this is just shitty-game being shitty-game. It's been choppy from day one.

Nothing has changed from TD's stand-point, so there's not much we can do. Ensure you have the rates above, and if you're still getting nailed with continuous choke (if it's intermittent, don't bother reading), lower your cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate to 100. I play with 100, 100, 128000, and I'm solid. Obviously, the choke comes and goes, but it always has (see shitty-game comment above).

It was much better today. I never saw it choke beyond 13% when I was playing. It was continuously choking yesterday, though.

I've noticed it pick up a bit lately. Pings gone from 7s to 13s, and random spikes. *shrugs* it is what it is. Lag happens.
