For 200$ you can't do much better at the moment. I got my eye on the new Sony one because they are actually changing up what tablets look like as well as entertainment offers. I can see it coming down to Kindle Fire vs Sony Tablet S next year, its will be who can produce more and better quality of entertainment and titles for the devices.

Samsung has support for USB/HDMI/you name it. It only has ONE port, but that port can adapt to almost any connection, that's the brilliance of it.
As for the Sony tablet, there's a HUGE downfall - the charge port. It's on the bottom (inconvenience, but it's not alone as other tablets have it there as well) - BUT, it's the flimsiest piece of connection you'll ever see. I've had in my hands for the last month, and boy, that bitch will break EASY through regular ownership

After researching all of them ... Nook tablet = win (i will be picking up mine today)
Kindle Fire is good because it has amazon backing it (apps/movies/cloud) But you are too reliant on the cloud.... If you dont have a good wifi connection you are screwed (8g internal) ... Nook has 16G plus sd card slot for 32... Also screen on nook has better resolution and more battery life...
