keyboard?

ok my esc key donst work in any games but when i open a program to record keystrokes to see if its working it records the keystroke properly. ive tryed restarting and updateing my drivers but its still not working in games. anyone have any idea what could cause this?

edit. also when i remaped esc to a different key it still dosnt work in game so i dont think its the keyboard

it was all games. its working now. i pluged it ionto my laptop and it was working and now that its back in my PC its working here too.

if anyone has any idea why it would do this please lemme know

Yeah this happens all the time. your terrible spelling has caused the keyboard to effectively commit suicide. only unplugging and replugging it in has revived it, a figurative "defibrillator" of sorts. this may happen again in the future, to which reviving the keyboard may become harder and harder. the best course of action at that point is to get a dictionary or new keyboard.
