@ Taco, you can bitch and moan all you want. First thing 90% of people do when their angry is resort to some nonsense racial hate. i.e. Guy cuts me off, "Fuckin paki, learn to drive!" etc. Plus, you have to factor in upbringing. I was raised by an old-ass-school european guy who's terribly jaded and yes, hated everybody, even our own people. So yes, growing up in a Catholic school (where all cultures, races etc. attended) opened my eyes and allowed me to be tolerant and respectful.
On forums, sure, paki this paki that is all fun and games, but in person I treat all equally. Turbo, you're one of the lucky cultures here in Canada.. the white man gets fucked HARD man, I'm kind of beginning to really understand what all of those Afro-Americans are bitching about, even though it's old news now.
You can be FULLY qualified and beyond for a position that isn't McDonald's, but as a white male you will not get it. No matter what. It fuckin sucks, but it's reality. So yes, I have serious gripes with the way our government treats us Canadians versus how they treat some newfag that just arrived yesterday, has no financial history, doesn't speak English (no worries, the company will bend and make Urdu the first language instead of English) and doesn't give a fuck to learn it. It's a "racial card", if you will, and it's severely unfair to everyone else.
It's not just race either. For example, in one of my companies (I have 2 jobs, I'm referencing Future Shop here) we have something called the WLN: Women's Leadership Network. This makes sure that any female will get hired, promoted, make more money, and advance up into the corporate ranks (from the retail ranks, where everyone starts) much quicker than anyone else. So now I'm behind every other race, AND I can't be a male? See what I mean?
