IRC Channel

Hey guys, I know I'm still new to the scene here but in my CS days I couldn't get around without IRC Channels, so since TD doesn't have one and I know some of you guys must have IRC I went ahead and registered #torontodarkly on GameSurge.

So, for the newbies, it's a chat program - as basic as it gets and barely uses any resources. mIRC is the main client people use but there are many different ones available.

Once you've gotten mIRC, join the server GameSurge. Once on GameSurge, join the Channel #torontodarkly.

Feel free to hang out idle and chat!

(LB, or whomever, just let me know and I'll assign channel ownership to your account)

Gotta connect to the Gamesurge server first. so File-&gt;select server -&gt; gamesurge -&gt;connect then join #torontodarkly or type /j torontodarkly :)

This is true. But I always IRC open for about 7 other channels I idle, so one more wasn't a problem. Plus I'd moderate it for free.

The medium used to communicate depends on the time of day. People at work aren't going to be on Vent, or on Steam - IRC or another chat fits that bill.

Right now there's people in the IRC discussing cock size, and all that good shit.
