I haven't bought the 4g because I was waiting for the 5g, but when's it coming out? I'm getting impatient...

5G = 5th generation. He's talking about the mp3 player, not the phone.

The iPod Touch typically updates in September/October.

Are you asking about the next generation of iPod Touch or the 5.1 iOS Upgrade?

5.1's been out since March the 7th. There is no current official news of a new Touch. SJ has a point, maybe late Fall.
