a bartender friend told me about this a long time ago, since then i'm always skeptical when orderings from tap.

What's bullshit is that the LCBO and Beer Store refuse to give a price break to licensed restaurants buying in bulk, the end result being that one can go out for dinner or drinks but at $3+ a bottle doing both at the same time is too much DPS for your wallet to tank for long. I was honestly hoping for that strike to happen right before the holiday just to see if Canadians would finally get off their asses and get angry about something that's actually serious business.

If you can’t afford booze then don’t drink. 10pm and you want a drink but your fridge is empty and you can’t afford bar prices then don’t drink.
