HALP! :( Minor Monitor/VC Issue

So I got my new rig all set up and I'm really happy with it. The two monitors are behaving nicely except when I try to run TF2 in full screen.

The game shows up in full screen on the one display, but on the other, the desktop has been shifted halfway off the screen >.>

The game running in full screen isn't a pressing issue. I'm used to running in windowed mode from my laptop. I'm just curious/concerned that it can't run full screen on this rig.

Monitors:
2x Samsung 27" LED Monitors S27C230B

Video Card:
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 3GB, Superclocked Edition

Any ideas?

Oh and before you start the "spoiled much?" shit, can it. I saved up for a year and a half to buy my own parts for this rig. I've gotten those kinds of comments already and it hasn't even been two days since I got the new rig all set up. :'(

dual screen is fucky at best. i dont use it for that reason. they need to work on that shit. its basically trial and error until u get that bitch somewhat working. good luck, bro

Crud... oh well. Like I said, it isn't a huge pressing issue, but when it happened the first time, I was like, wait, what? xD

EDIT:
I tried Marvel Heroes and it ran in full screen fine. No shifting whatsoever on the other monitor. Maybe TF2 doesn't play well with full screen and dual monitors.... Jerks...

660Ti might struggle running full screen game and other shit on two screens. Not to mention, gaming isn't meant to run on a dual-screen setup unless you're doing that wonky ATI multi-screen business (in which case you'll need 3 monitors and an active-monitor out attachment to 'activate' the third port on a video card that no one seems to advertise).

Anyways - switch to one monitor before launching the game, otherwise Windows/game will give you random results.

Usually when that happens it's because either:

  1. Your game isn't at full resolution on the main monitor in which you play TF2
  2. Drivers
  3. Older game doesn't support your screen resolution
