Fair warning, most games on the Wii are turds and the controllers are fuckin expensive, nothing worse thinking your paying a large sum and getting a ton of the good shit and it turns out to be the bad shit. I have found this forum to be a reliable source of information regarding how to successfully hack your console and pirate games. The way I see things it's robbery if you pay and it's robbery if you don't pay. Might as well save some money on your side.

I installed a Wii Key on iSieze's brand new Wii a week after he bought it. fuckin SKETCHY installing that thing. First pull it all apart and disassemble the disc drive, then I had to solder #32 AWG wire onto pads smaller than the smallest tip of my iron. do not recommend!!!!

Soft-mod is the way to go, took me a few times to get it right but worth it, only need a spare small SD card & external hd and you're set. Then again yeah the good games are too few, had about 80 games on mine before I sold it a month ago, in the end I just used it as a media player.

i had soft mod too, i used Wii Flow to load the backups, it looks like a virtual EBgames lol.

1GB or bigger SD card and an external USB hard drive (500gb is more then enough) was all the equipment I used.

Only games worth buying that I played, Wii Sports Resort, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Country, Punch-out, Mario Kart, basically everything else was garbage imo.
