Me, Narf and Hinouchi have GW2, not sure if any other members/regulars here have it too.

The game is quite nice and if you enjoy WoW without paying for monthly fees, it provides a lot of content. There are some minor bugs, but overall the world is very expansive and there are a lot of things to do. It caters to PVE/PVP players. One downside is no PVE+PVP together. That is, you can't go questing then randomly gank/get ganked. PVP is separate and you can start at any level. You are boosted to level 80, the cap, and take part in a big siege vs another server.

If you have it, or are planning on trying it out, we play on Northern Shiverpeaks server. Our guild is "Club of Kool Kids" [Cokk]...we're mature

Not gonna buy a game off the word of Turbo Taco, already made that mistake once in the last few months.

And yes WoW did have a 7 day trial at launch.. so did Guild Wars 1, so I don't really understand what you are trying to get at

I got it, and my computer keeps overheating (it's not just for this game though, but this one overheats far quicker...), but I have to say it's annoying to have to do several starting zones...and there is sadly a lack of ganking

make sure all your fans are running properly. Including Graphics card fans..

Nah it was fine at first, I'm sure its just the fan (and maybe some random viruses...like Norton :P) Laptops are fine...know someone with an 8-core 3.1ish ghz laptop with a top-end graphics card...runs perfectly fine

It runs perfectly fine when it's DUST-FREE.

Open it up and clean out the cpu and gpu heat sink, you won't believe how much dust gets trap there.
