Hinou, if you go to your hero menu 'H', the last thing on the left side is going to some "blah blah of the Mists" which you get auto-80 and you're in the PVP-only staging area. You can get your gear from the vendors for free (don't forget gems) and you get your 70 trait pts, for you to test various builds -- you can then queue up on various servers to play capture points PVP matches.

We only really need to party to do tourney matches or arena.

CoKK now has the guild bank, 50 slots, accessible at major cities like Lion's Arch in the bank area (there's a guild bank guy)

Politics is lvl 1 and I'm researching guild emblem, which should be done this morning so I can change the emblem to a Rooster (cock).

We have, uh...200 influence points. So I'll see what else is avail when I get home.

I've also played some of the PVP and ranger is decent...I was on a rampage and I have 61 kills in 7 matches and is level 3 in PVP...not bad...


EDIT: I also finished AC on story and explore modes.

whats the diff between AC story/explore? is it essentially norm/elite?

With story, there's a, uh, story. The path you take and bosses you fight to are predetermined, but explore has no real story, but you can take multiple paths thru more areas and facedifferent bosses. Explore doesn't count towards achievement either

Well yea GW2 are for skills people :) don't think WoW people is going to get the hang of it, cause you can only bring 10 skills with you! :P

There's actual customization in skill trees and everyone gets access to the same gear. If you get kills/win, it's a skill thing and not because you have an OP weap that's OVER 9000!

EDIT: and yes, you have a variety of skills, but you can only bring 10. And each slot can only allow certain skills:
weapon skill = 5 slots, varies with mainhand/off-hand weap choice
heals = 1 slot, 3 to choose from
utility = 3 slots, 12? to choose from
elite = 1 slot, 6 to chose from

That's the only one I've played somewhat extensively. There's WvW (world vs world, i.e. server vs server). Other than that PvP is within your server. Once we get a more ppl and a more stable schedule, we'll try some arena. The only thing I don't like is there's no ganking going on in the world. The world is for PvE only.

I just saw your post now ^^" gonna check it out when I get home, but yea I'm 80 now. Trying to get some exotic pvp gears, don't know where to start tho :/
