in the clips he only puts a tiny ammount from the back of his hand on his finger, rubs his face down and does not re-apply it to his fingers when he massages his shoulders and back. so BS! for anyone who actually saw the whole fight and not these little clips they would know that there is no doubt that if BJ Penn was dipped from head to toe in vaseline GSP still would have smoked him.

Here's what happened:

GSP's vaseline guy that puts vaseline on his face usually does this thing where he puts one hand on his chest and one hand on his back and rubs it (suppose to be some spiritual thing), but he forgot to wipe off the vaseline this time before he did it. but somebody noticed and wiped it off already before the round began.

and yes, GSP dominated rounds 2-4, there was nothing Penn could do. crying more only makes him look worse.

I doubt Penn says that was the reason why he lost. This is more an issue of his trainers complaining about something they thought was unfair or illegal, just to make sure it doesn't happen again in the UFC.

Tru that. I read the article, and it appears someone in the audience noticed and went to the "commission" to let them know. From there, the "commission" looked into the incident. It's not a matter for St.Pierre himself, but for his trainer and his license.

noob. Its actually cause his trainer (or someone close) is a 'witch doctor' and he has gone through that ritual for a long time. It was pretty stupid for the guy to do that espcially with vaseline on his hand, but still GSP would have smoked Penn either way... GSP is rippppped and Penn just looked like a normal athletic build, but not toned like GSP. Either way, I want to see Penn file a complaint so GSP can whoop his ass again
