Server: DARKLY | Toronto TF2 Trade/Idle #4
Ban Reason: I was presumed to have been scamming

My case: Well, I came on the server without much currency at my disposal, so I decided to once again sell email servers, which yes, are a legitimate thing. Now, I posted in the chat that I was selling email servers, and a man by the name of "DARKLY | HappySticks" said he would like to purchase one. I told him the risks and what an email server was in the simplest terms I could muster, and I then proceeded to ask for a payment. I completely prepared to set up an email server, and comply to his requests, but he then proceeded to end the trade without warning. I didn't understand at first, but I assume he thought I was attempting a scam. I can assure you completely that this was not a scam, and you can check my aliases that I was not using a false name. I was completely prepared to refund him if he was not satisfied, and no one had any grounds to ban me whatsoever. Sorry for the ruckus, and if I if I do sell email servers again, it won't be on your server, and I will try to explain it better than I did previously. Now, you may be spektical, but I am being completely honest whilst I say this. This was not a scam, in any respect, and I would calmly request that I be unbanned as soon as possible.

Yours truly,
pop101ster

(By the way, selling an email server may seem farfectched, but truthfully it is relativlely easy to set up an email server. Most people use it either for egotastical reasons or for security. Search it up).

Death by Darkly
Hi {TSS}pop101ster,

The sale of non-Steam items is permitted on DARKLY servers, and I understand that email servers and the associated labor is a legitimate, marketable service. However, there's some unexplained and classically suspicious behavior involved:

- Your profile is private
Assuming the chat logs provided in the report are correct....
- The service you were offering was likely impossible to be executed (you confirmed the email address "HappySticks@TeamFortress2.com" to be possible,
even though the corresponding domain is not available) without direct contact with the domain manager.
- You required payment up front

Can you please explain these inconsistencies to eliminate any miscommunication or confusion?

Shotgun Jesus, can you please move this thread?

Of course I can explain:
1. My profile is private because I am a strong advocate of internet security, which I'm sure you can understand.
2. A foolish over site on my part, and I'm surprised as you are that I didn't realize such a ignorant mistake. I also completely agree that I should have payed more attention to the domain he had registered me to create.
3. I required a payment up front because I don't want to have to do the work of making an email server, just to find the person who bought it from me thought they could get the server and run (you would be surprised how many times this has been done, some people just don't understand the concept of a server).

~Sincerely, pop101ster of the "Saints of TF2" clan.
