future sc2 tourneys

Would there be interest to have an sc2 tourney every month or every other month? I'm thinking about settimg a different style of tourney up more often.

I think we just need different types of eliminations, or a tourney that works with different stipulations.

1v1 > 2v2.

Every month would be fine. I think our current tourney was good, just bump matches to best 3 out of 5 like the GSL and the best player will surely advance.

I was thinking we could do a small league.
We could set up 2 divisions. for 2 or 3 months have a set number of games that every one would need to complete then at the end place every one in a bracket for "playoffs" biased on wins

just a round robin style

But ya would love to get more tourneys set up.

2v2 has fail written all over it. I luke the idea of a league, but the longer it is, more games to be played, has larger potential to fail. Maybe a double elimination with best 2 of 3 for initial rounds and 3 of 5 for the later rounds?

You know what would be an awesome idea? 1v1 Randoms tourney. I'm surprised nobody has brought it up yet...

Random sound like Garb-O. I like the idea of having two separate brackets that converge towards the finals / semi-finals, setting the matches up based on skill of the individual players.

Random 1v1 is a terrible idea.

I prefer the current tourney format, with 3 out of 5 instead of 2 out of 3.
