I think there should be forced auto team select as team stacking is an issue on the server that ruins a lot of games

I support this, team stacking is a very rampant issue on this server. Although truthfully I havent had as much trouble with it lately. But its still a problem and its very easy to identify early on which team is preferable to join if you want to win.
Once in a rare while, an admin will try and balance the team but this rarely happens. I think a forced auto team select is the best solution if thats possible.

I also support this. I've seen admins balance the teams and most players that are good enough know when they need to switch...

I try to balance the teams, its hard sometimes.
theres alot of skilled players that play on darkly, and it becomes hard to balance when someone who i know can carry a team isnt playing well.
like i look at the teams, ayanami is wrecking everything making his team win. but on the other team we have yoshi, archon, tytanium and flawless. If i switch ayanami, teams will be HELLA stacked for the other team now. Its not always as easy as switch a top fragger to the other side. When Im balancing teams, even if one team is 10-0, I pay attention to how the round comes to an end, is it a roll? or is it coming down to close 2v2 situations etc. I wont switch anyone if rounds end close for the most part, just cause one team is clearly clutching out more rounds.

What roach says is true, balancing the game after teams are selected can be a very tricky process. But the issue is with people purposely team stacking and joining favourable teams. The problem is compounded further by the fact that regulars are usually better than randoms and they are more likely to notice which team is going to dominate just from the first 10 players that connect after a new map.

True fax, I once went 33-2 on train within 12 rounds, then went 1-12 on the next map. Counter-strike luck can just make your performance go either way. There are times when you feel like you can't hit anything, then there are days where you didn't even intentionally aim for the head but land headshots constantly anyway.
