what? college is easy

In Canada, college is high school: part deux. University, on the other will chop your nuts to a fine dust, with which you can make one tasty danish.

+1 keeripes. plus mother fucking one. I could not wait to grad uni, and having endured hell on earth the last 6 months, nothing my friends, has ever felt better. It was like, my lifes ambition for the past 17 years had been realized. Also, I'm a scientist. No, don't laugh, a computing scientist.

university is easy. the only time that i feel the need to really work is the day/night/morning before an essay is due.

only 3rd semester here, but from what i have noticed, i already took accounting level 1 at george brown college and then i had to take it at ryerson university. the textbooks were identical except that the gbc one had bigger a bigger font, not hardcover and 50 bucks cheaper. both courses were equal imo.

my big beef is with textbooks, there is 3 microeconomics textbooks offered this year by the same publisher, for the same grade level, that's corrupt. (dropped micro last year half way through, i take with a diff prof and have to buy a new book). i understand the prices of textbooks, needing expensive people to write them, but clearly 2 of the 3 versions must be inferior and these assholes are exploiting a captive market. textbook piracy ftw

It's true, some college programs are harder than univ. courses because they involve tons of hands on shit. For example, I am currently taking Film at Humber College, if I took this course in a university I would barely even touch a camera and "learn" about how to use one... GAYYYY

Depends on the program, course load is a bitch when you have 3 projects to film all at once.

All the uni and college class I have taken so far, are about the same, difficulty wise. The college teachers just tend to not give a shit, and grade easier.

It all depends what you take. Arts is a joke, my friends in it had like 10-15 hours of class a week. Engineering is rape, 40 hours of class a week, multiple things due every single day.

There is a reason for that. Obviously, this is why arts students fill your gas tank and engineering students drive fancy cars and have unnecessarily complex starbux orders.

I think I fall somewhere in the middle of the difficulty scale. Not a lot of pressure on comp sci geeks, as if the software fails, typically the worst case scenario is lots of money lost.
