pearl of wisdom, Have someone you know build you a gamer. it will cost considerably less than buying a overpriced box unit. the cost will be lower and you will have what you want.

i have never purchased a ready built pc , i prefer to build my own and give the companies the finger.

you can do some shopping around and buy the better priced components and have a buddy assemble it. but that's just me, i don't like giving money away. :)

All in all, my processor is the same but the tech guys guarantee that this new setup will surely run bc2 on HIGH res.
I guess I'll find out tonight once I get home and test it out

Sure you can run high in bc2 with that set up, but at what resolution? the more important part is, can you actually play SMOOTHLY without hi-cupping ...
