so apparently they made some minor changes to the game, still on the same engine though. added gun modding and hardcore mode. individual karma level for different locations, like they did in f2. the story is a sequel to f1 and f2 and has nothing to do with the events is f3. hope it will be fun.

yeah same, but not optimistic. I played F1,F2 extensively, but F3 just didn't quite do it for me. I'm chaulking it up to a different dev group doing it, and not quite having the touch.

Honestly, I anticipate the same thing with deus ex

i agree with you leroy i didnt enjoy the new fallout but im hopeing the new deus EX dosnt fail, i dont think it will be as bad because there takeing a FPSRPG and makeing a new FPS RPG where as fallout they took a orthographic adventure game and turned it ibnto a FPS RPG. thats the reason i think it failed compared to F1, F@, and event tactics was better than F3.

honestly, I want them to stick to the rails regarding deus ex, bring me back the original game with an updated engine and I'll pay double.

Bring me back some highly polished, everything mustard, trite game and I'll call it quits and jump off that bridge over there.

The best part of deus ex, was it wasn't perfect, there were all sorts of "unfinished parts" and little glitches here and there, that almost made the game feel more "real".

Hard to describe, really.

i know what you mean 100% to this day i think deus Ex is the most emersive game ive ever played. i still think about some of the story endings from the second one from time to time. only game ive ever played where bad AI almost made it better and more unpridictible

hahah isn't that true! The AI is sooo bad in combat mode, I almost feel sorry for them. It is probably one of the earliest games I played where they had the "flee! state".

And it changed depending on how "tough" you were. Enemies that would run at me in the beginning of the game, would flee immediatley if I ever revisited old parts.

Another excellent part was the atmospheric music and voice acting. Another first for me, previous (and since) the voice acting is lame and contrived. I was very disappointed when I heard they aren't getting the original voice actors (for obvious reasons, differnet characters) back.

the massive amount of glitches and bugs in all Interplay (RIP) games made f1 and f2 seem like ur playing from a bunker in post-apocalyptia. those games were the shit !!! u could be labeled as "child killer" and other horrible tags. f3 is fucking gayed-down for the general faggy public. the original fallouts were controversial, where literally, everything was possible. in f3, cant even blast kids. laaaame.

yeah, im debating hard whether to play HC or not. all those things that come with HC mode are more of a nuisance than gameplay. all it'll do is make u fucking run around back and forth getting supplies. all it is is bragging rights at the expense of time, lots of extra walking time. Hinouchi will win
