If it fucked with my life, my home, my survival in this cruel-ass-getting-even-more-cruel world, then yes - in a heartbeat (no offense).

Leroy

2012 Troll of the Year
I've put up so many of my friends, I guess I got a bleeding heart. In each and everyone, my so called "good buddies" have always, abused the privilege. They sat on my couch, didn't work, didn't look for jobs, basically enjoyed the good life.

I know have a new standing rule. 1 month tops.

I'm New Here
I evicted myself from my "best friends" place where I was paying half the rent and him and his gf were stealing money and pot off me ... was kinda a sad situation so I just got up and packed my shit and moved back in with my parents for a while and I don't talk to him anymore!!

and i don't regret it at all!

Depends on the situation. If they were laid-off or what not and were actively looking for a job -- I'd let them stay for as long as it takes to get back on their feet. If they're abusing the friendship then fuck that, I'll give them a month as Leroy said.

My friend went schizophrenic, no world of a lie, and he kicked me out of his place... I was glad to go really.

its difficult to say. my girlfriend and i are planning on renting a house down in cali once school is over and she isnt very reliable with money. in my case, because we're such close friends i dont think id take it too harshly only because i know its been a problem of hers for a while. on the other hand, i cant pay for the shit myself so id whip her into getting a job or kick her to the corner of jane and finch...

but i agree with narf.

mandy honestly best friend or not i would never get into a renting situation with someone i know isnt good with money. you need to be very carfull about that. if you do tho try and get a split lease so you only sign for your half the rent on a seperet lease then your friend. if you both sign the same lease for the full amount and she dosnt come through your stuck paying it. but if its sepret and she dosnt pay then its her problem and you have the option of helping her rather than not haveing a choice
